He has held leadership positions in major institutions such as BRD Life Insurance, CN ROMARM, PIROCHIM, and IOR SA, and served as President of the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania. As the founder of DA.AI Audit & Accounting and an active contributor to international regulatory bodies, Gabriel brings together academic rigor and practical expertise to uphold excellence and integrity in Patrimonia+’s advisory services.

He currently serves as Academic Director and Clinical Professor at NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, where he oversees curriculum design, faculty development, and program innovation, while actively fostering industry partnerships and alumni engagement.

His career bridges academia and industry, with leadership roles in graduate finance and real estate education, financial consulting, blockchain strategy, and fintech entrepreneurship. As co-founder and CFO of Bleexy LLC, a blockchain-based venture, he has led product development and secured NSF grant funding for research and innovation.

Cătălin’s areas of expertise include corporate finance, sovereign debt restructuring, financial literacy, and decentralized finance (DeFi). He has taught at leading U.S. universities, including NYU, University of Tennessee, UNC, Indiana University, University of Maryland, and American University. Dragoș Popa

Dragos Popa is a seasoned banker and corporate leader with over 27 years of executive experience across multinational corporations, public sector entities, state-owned enterprises, and large local corporates. He currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Exim Banca Romaneasca and is the Managing Partner at QFin Advisory, specializing in business development, corporate finance, and executive coaching.

Dragos has a proven track record in building high-performing teams, driving strategic growth, and closing landmark deals, including Romania’s largest private corporate bond issuance and major power sector M&A transactions. His international experience includes senior roles at Citibank France and Romania, where he managed global client relationships and coordinated banking operations across 56 countries.

Cornel Oprișan

Cornel Oprișan is a senior retail strategist and transformation advisor with over 30 years of experience across emerging and developed markets. With a strong background in customer experience, commercial growth, and organizational development, Cornel has led pioneering initiatives in retail market penetration, multichannel expansion, and cultural alignment.

He played a pivotal role in launching and scaling IKEA operations in Romania and Southeast Europe, including store openings in Zagreb and Belgrade, developing IKEA’s e-commerce presence, and overseeing global commercial audits across Europe, the U.S., and China. As General Manager of IKEA Romania, he managed a business of €100 million and 500 employees, successfully integrating it into the global IKEA Group.

Cornel also contributed to strategic development projects at the global and regional level, including defining IKEA’s global customer experience and engagement measurements framework. Today, he continues to advise retailers through proprietary commercial growth programs and customer experience transformations, helping companies unlock sustainable value and performance.

She has extensive experience in high-end transformational projects for local entrepreneurial companies as well as for multinationals providing complex strategic thinking and consultancy services.

Beyond her entrepreneurial core, Otilia’s career spans diverse roles, including serving as a local expert for the World Bank. She is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants and of the Romanian Chamber of Auditors and she holds an Advance Diploma in International Taxation issued by the Chartered Institute of Taxation in UK.

She also holds a Postgraduate Degree in Board Practice and Directorship from Henley Business School – University of Reading, a master’s degree in business law, being licensed from both Faculty of Law – the University of Bucharest and the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies.

With 28 years of expertise in the real estate industry, Valentin has become a highly respected figure in the field. He previously managed Coldwell Banker Romania, which was the market leader in real estate, until he successfully exited the business to focus on developing the Coldwell Banker network across the African continent.

Valentin’s extensive experience spans a portfolio of diverse real estate projects across four major regions of Romania. He leads advisory and operational efforts in asset management, large mixed-use developments, hospitality, PRS, PaaS, urban regeneration, and more. He played a pivotal role in pioneering modern property and asset management services in Romania, directing teams across 38 counties and managing thousands of NPL assets, along with over 2,000 properties in asset, property, and facility management.

Passionate about improving investor systems, project outcomes, and profitability, Valentin founded Ambrella®, a client-centric delivery platform that provides integrated solutions across the real estate lifecycle — from the pre-project phase, modeling, and master planning to design, financing, construction, and post-delivery asset and operational management.

Ștefan-Alexandru Frangulea

Ștefan-Alexandru Frangulea is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Electrica, Romania’s largest electricity distribution and supply company, a position he has held since January 2022 under a mandate extending to December 2026. With over 20 years of experience in corporate banking, finance, and energy, he oversees the Group’s financial strategy and manages key relationships with investors, regulators, and financial institutions.

Since joining Electrica in 2018 as Head of Treasury, he has led landmark transactions including cross-border financing projects, structured trade finance, sovereign risk operations, and the company’s Eurobond issuance. He has also served on the boards of Electrica’s distribution subsidiaries, CM Termoenergetica, and the Danube–Black Sea Canal Administration.

He holds a degree in Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Exchanges from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, an Executive MBA from WU Vienna and IEDC Bled School of Management, and a Master of Arts in Board Practice and Directorship from Henley Business School. Combining technical expertise with extensive management and capital markets experience, Ștefan is also President and co-founder of the Association of Treasurers from Romania (ATR), affiliated with the European Association of Corporate Treasurers (EACT) and the International Group of Treasury Associations (IGTA).
